Caesar Health vs Prevounce
Prevounce offers software, its own cellular devices and outsourced care managers. Caesar's agents run outreach so your own staff keep the patient relationship. Compare who makes the calls and who submits the claim.

The decision
Prevounce sells remote care software, its own cellular devices and outsourced care managers. You choose who makes the monthly calls: your staff, Prevounce's team, or a mix. Caesar Health runs AI agents and a care-program engine alongside your EMR. The agents place outreach calls, and your own staff do the clinical work.
The choice is between buying people and buying agents. Prevounce adds care managers when you are short on staff. Caesar takes routine calls off the staff you have.
"No published claim" means we found nothing on Prevounce's own pages on 22 October 2026. It does not mean the product lacks it. Ask Prevounce directly.
The structural difference
Prevounce answers a staffing gap with staff. Its care management page puts it plainly: "Prevounce provides the infrastructure, you control the clinical decisions, and our care management team handles the rest." In the fully outsourced model, Prevounce's team makes the monthly calls.
Caesar answers the same gap with agents. The Phone Agent places enrollment and reminder calls on your cadence and writes the outcome to the patient's record. The calls that need a clinician go to your own staff, so your patients hear from your practice.
AI time is not clinical-staff time under Medicare's care-management codes. Caesar never counts it. If you have no clinical staff to give a program at all, software does not supply that capacity. An outsourced team does.
Devices
Prevounce sells its own Pylo cellular blood pressure monitors, scales, glucose meter and pulse oximeter, and ships them from an Indianapolis warehouse. That is one vendor for the software and the hardware.
Caesar does not sell devices. It connects to the cellular devices and device platforms you choose, and readings flow into the same program record.
Where Prevounce is strong
- A staffing option. In-house, hybrid or fully outsourced, on one platform.
- Devices and logistics. Its own cellular devices, custom kits and fulfillment.
- Annual wellness visits. AWV and preventive services sit beside RPM, CCM and APCM.
- eClinicalWorks path. It describes SMART on FHIR for eClinicalWorks version 12 and above, and HL7 for earlier versions.
- Clear billing roles. Its matrix says your staff submit claims and make clinical decisions in every model.
Choose Prevounce if
You need people, not just tools: no coordinator to run the calls, or a program bigger than your team. You want devices, shipping and software from one vendor.
Choose Caesar if
You have staff and want them on clinical work, not on dialing. You want your patients to hear from your practice, minutes split across programs automatically, one phone for front desk and care team, and a billing gate a person releases.
What to ask on either demo
- In the outsourced model, whose name does the patient hear, and where do the care manager's notes live?
- Log one call for a patient in CCM and RPM. Where do the minutes land, and who confirms the split?
- Which calls happen with no staff member on the line?
- For your EHR, what writes back: the note, the time or the charge?
- Hold one patient at billing. What evidence is shown, and who releases it?
- If you leave, what happens to the devices in patients' homes?
Demo evaluation
Make both teams prove it.
Bring one real workflow with patient details removed. Follow it from the first request to the final record.
- Log one staff call for a patient enrolled in two programs.
- Show where those minutes are counted and who confirms them.
- Trigger a reading outside a threshold and follow the alert.
- Hold one patient at the billing gate and read the evidence.

Frequently asked questions
Is Caesar Health a Prevounce alternative?
For practices with their own clinical staff, yes. Caesar's agents run the outreach for RPM, RTM, CCM, PCM, APCM, BHI and Collaborative Care, and your staff do the clinical work. Caesar does not supply care managers or sell devices.
Does Prevounce do the patient calls for us?
It can. Prevounce's care management matrix shows monthly patient calls done by your staff, your choice, or Prevounce, depending on the model you buy.
How much does Prevounce cost?
Prevounce does not publish a price. Its /pricing address returned a 404 on 22 October 2026. It publishes an ROI calculator instead.
Who submits the claim with Prevounce?
Your staff. Prevounce's matrix shows claim submission by your staff in the in-house, hybrid and fully outsourced models. Caesar never submits claims either. A person sets Ready for Billing and your billing team submits.
Can AI time count toward CCM or RPM minutes?
No. Medicare's care-management codes pay for clinical staff or practitioner time. Caesar counts only staff minutes. See CCM, PCM, APCM, RPM and RTM codes.
How does Caesar compare with other CCM vendors?
