The member app
The member app: longevity medicine between visits
Caesar’s member app brings the time between visits into the relationship. It is the between-visit layer of the operating system for longevity medicine.
Sleep, heart rate, activity, weight, blood pressure, blood oxygen, glucose, food and medications, synced from the member’s phone, wearables and glucose monitor, and measured against the plan their clinician set.
Longevity medicine happens between visits
A member sees the clinician a few times a year. The plan runs every day in between: sleep, training, food, weight, glucose, medications.
Most clinics see none of that until the next visit. The member reports from memory, and the plan is adjusted on a snapshot.
Caesar's member app closes that gap. The member tracks the plan every day, and the clinic's picture covers the month, not the appointment.
What the app tracks
| What | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Sleep | Apple Health and Android Health Connect, from the member's watch or ring |
| Heart rate | Apple Health and Android Health Connect |
| Activity | Daily steps and activity from the member's phone or wearable |
| Weight | Connected scales through Apple Health or Health Connect, or entered by the member |
| Blood pressure and blood oxygen | Connected cuffs and oximeters, including cellular devices the clinic issues |
| Glucose | Continuous glucose monitors, including Dexcom |
| Food | Logged meals, with nutrition-label scanning |
| Medications | Reminders on the member's schedule, with missed doses kept visible |
The member connects each source once. Readings sync in the background after that.
Goals, not just graphs
Every member has a plan: a sleep target, a weight trajectory, a glucose range, a training load. The app shows progress against the goals the clinician set, not a wall of charts.
Members see where they stand every day. That is what keeps a membership from turning into a visit schedule.
What the clinic does with it
- Reviews the month. The review visit starts from a month of sleep, activity, weight and glucose, not from recall.
- Adjusts the plan. Changes to goals and medications follow the data, and the member sees the new target the same day.
- Keeps members engaged. Reminders, missed-dose follow-up and rebooking run through Caesar's SMS Agent.
- Documents it. The AI Scribe drafts the review note in the clinic's template.
Where it fits
The member app is the between-visit layer of Caesar, the operating system for longevity medicine. The same system answers every inquiry, books the consult, collects intake and files lab results.
It serves every practice that sells a relationship rather than a visit:
- Longevity clinics: baseline testing, the plan, and follow-up panels.
- Hormone clinics: symptoms, weight and sleep alongside the lab-monitoring loop.
- Medical weight loss clinics: weight, glucose and food, week by week.
- Concierge and direct primary care practices: the membership, made visible.
What the app does not do
- It doesn't diagnose. Consumer wearables are not diagnostic devices. The app shows trends; clinicians decide what they mean.
- It doesn't triage. A reading is not an emergency alert. Members are told to call 911 for an emergency.
- It doesn't prescribe or change doses. Medication changes come from the clinician.
Frequently asked questions
What does a longevity patient app track?+
Caesar's member app tracks sleep, heart rate, activity, weight, blood pressure, blood oxygen, glucose, food and medications. It syncs from Apple Health, Android Health Connect and continuous glucose monitors, and from connected devices the clinic issues.
Does the app work with Apple Watch, Oura or other wearables?+
It reads from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android. Wearables that write sleep, heart rate and activity to those apps flow into Caesar once the member connects them.
Can the clinic see its members' data?+
The member connects each source and the data belongs to the member's record with the clinic. The clinic reviews trends against the plan at each visit.
Is it HIPAA compliant?+
Yes. Caesar signs a Business Associate Agreement at contract and has SOC 2 Type II in progress.
Do members have to enter data by hand?+
Mostly not. Sleep, heart rate, activity, glucose and connected-device readings sync in the background. Food logging is manual, with label scanning to make it quick.
